High on the Hog Ranch, raising Cain
I crossed a bullwhackin’ woman courtin’ no restrain
A wide-open country girl born on the dusty plain

6 feet tall, standing like a wreck of a train
Leather skin brown as the arid terrain

With a bottle of Rye I started my campaign
“You are courting Calamity,” she explained

She was dissolute, devilish, with a touch of insane
